Steel Fixer
We’re looking for an experienced Steel Fixer to cut, bend and place reinforcement across our slab, footing and structural projects.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret reinforcement and engineering drawings
- Cut, bend and place reinforcing steel and mesh
- Tie and fix reinforcement to specification
- Install bar chairs and spacers correctly
- Work closely with concreters and site supervisors
Required Qualifications
- Trade qualification or equivalent experience
- Current White Card
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years' steel fixing experience
- Ability to read structural and engineering plans
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Physically fit
