Construction Process
Does a concrete project follow a different process for a renovation than a new build?
The core stages are genuinely the same — assessment, design, approvals, pour, cure — but a renovation typically adds extra steps around protecting the existing structure, working within a live household, and tying new concrete into what’s already there.
Access is often more constrained on a renovation too, which can genuinely affect equipment choice and how the work is sequenced day to day compared to a clear, empty new-build site.
