Plain & Coloured Concrete

Can coloured concrete be touched up if a patch fades unevenly?

To some extent — a tinted sealer reapplication can often help restore more even colour appearance where fading has occurred unevenly, though achieving a genuinely seamless match to the original integrated colour can be challenging.

Uneven fading is often linked to inconsistent sun exposure or sealing across different areas — addressing the underlying cause (consistent, timely resealing) helps prevent this from recurring after a touch-up.

For significant or widespread fading, a full resealing treatment across the entire area, rather than spot touch-ups, generally gives a more genuinely consistent overall result.
