Screw Piles

Does the weather affect when screw piles can be installed?

Screw piles are genuinely far less weather-sensitive than a concrete pour, since there’s no curing process to protect — installation can usually proceed in light rain or cooler conditions that would delay a slab.

Genuinely wet, boggy ground can still affect rig access and traction though, so very heavy or prolonged rain beforehand can still push the schedule out, just for a different reason than concrete curing.
